With the polar bear population in danger, Canada is offering a $40 gift bag and $10 voucher to anyone who makes a pack-in donation.
The gift bags are a great way to show your support for polar bears as they try to survive in the icy waters of the Arctic.
The Polar Bear Rescue Society of Canada (PBSC) has launched a new fundraising drive, which has already collected more than $40,000 to help polar bears.
“The PBSC has a strong focus on the safety of the animals we protect.
Our mission is to protect the animals by providing a range of services to help people understand the importance of polar bear conservation,” said PBSC president and CEO Chris McLean.”
We are proud to have been chosen by Canada’s most charitable organizations to participate in this initiative.
We are committed to working with governments, community groups and the public to create solutions that help polar bear survival and recovery.”PBSS will deliver the gift bags to any polar bear rescue organization, and will give out $10 vouchers to those who make a donation.
The vouchers can be used for a range and include clothing, toiletries, a pair of shoes, a polar bear t-shirt, polar bear earrings, and other essentials.
The PBSS said the gift bundles are made from recycled materials and designed to look as if they were purchased in the US.
“For our members, this is a great opportunity to give back to the country they live in and to help them save a species that is critically endangered in Canada,” said McLean in a news release.
The group will deliver a Polar Bear Project Guide and a Polar Bears Polar Bear Survival Kit in September.
The charity has also launched a polar pack in the U.S. to help the polar bears, but that will be phased out in 2019.
