A new bag of onions is no longer in stock in supermarkets, but the product is still available online and at farmers markets.
The new bag was introduced by a Canadian firm called Orange Packaging last week and will be available for purchase on November 15, according to its website.
Orange Packaging is selling a new onion packing pack at an online farmer’s market in Edmonton, Alberta.
It will cost $19.99 and include two dozen onions and a bag of flour, according a company representative.
According to the company’s website, “this new onion bag is the most nutritious onion you can buy in Canada and will save you money on grocery bills.”
“The quality and freshness of the product has increased significantly, and we believe the prices are still competitive.”
The company says its onion packing gizmo is “designed to help your food grow faster and stay fresher,” adding that it’s a “great way to help save money.”
According the company, it’s the most nutritional onion you will find in Canada.
The bag contains one kilogram of fresh, peeled and chopped onions and 1.6 litres of flour.
A spokeswoman for the company said the onion pack is designed to help grow your food faster and keep you on track to get the nutrition you need.
“This product is designed specifically for growers who are working with small-scale farmers, such as small farmers, and want to reduce their costs while growing a healthy diet and ensuring the quality of their product,” the company stated in a statement.
Although the company doesn’t recommend buying a new product every year, it said its onion pack “is one of the most nutrient-dense, low-cost and versatile products available” on the market today.
In other news, McDonald’s Canada has released a “No-Bake Bacon Burger” in Canada that is expected to debut at its new Canadian outlet, The Corner, on Nov. 22.
The sandwich features a patty topped with a grilled bacon cheeseburger patty and a side of lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mayonnaise and pickled pickles.
